Engines, Ride, and Handling
A 385-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 powers the GLE43 and comes hooked up to a nine-speed automatic, while the GLE63 S gets a mighty 577-hp twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8 with a seven-speed automatic. In our testing, the GLE63 S hit 60 mph in 3.9 seconds; the GLE43 managed a still-quick 5.3 seconds. All-wheel drive is standard on both models
